world cup idiocy is every where, support the team but for christ sake stop shit like this. and putting a flag up doesn't make you patriotic, if you want to be patriotic join the army a f*ck off to afganistan!

Over here the awful car flags are starting to pop up again. The first were spotted after the Eurovision contest.

(no that's not my car, I would flag mine with Denmark anyway :D )

In this country post-war generations have not learned to show flags. But since the last WM our people turned out to be a bit more self-concious. You won't find Germany flags in the streets, but maybe in allotment gardens.

I quite like seeing the flags now as the excitement mounts. I wouldn't have one on my car/house though.
