Have you tried borrowing someone else's phone and inserting your SIM just to check? Long shot but it might work. At least you could then note down any numbers you wanted to keep.
Just in case it's simply that your contacts are not showing up on your new phone. Good luck! ![]()
you can get little sim backup things, most are stupendously basic....put sim in, hit save, put new sim in, hit restore.....only thing is it may (not likely tho) overwrite things like voicemail centre number etc if on a new network, but that's easier to reset than 300 numbers.
Tried me birds phone with my sim but still fcuk all, not bossed about thephone nos, can gradually get them off friends, BUT pissed that have lost photos of bern etc..
Must still be 'on' me old broken phone somewhere![]()
What sort of phone is it? Can you hook it up to your PC and then explore the files on the phone?

Cheers Karlos, im 99% sure that the prob is that i never saved me nos n photos to my sim card but did it to me now buggered old phone, thats why its not showing owt on new phone
You can't save photies to the sim mate, their memory capacity is tiny. If the phone can still make some effort at powering up, as as been suggested, get your hands on the USB connection lead for it and plug it up to your PC....even with it's screen and keypad mangled, as long as the main board is undamaged this will work.
You're fucked. Best advice I can give you is to forget about your old friends, family, workplace etc and make new ones. Far less trouble than trawling round the old lot getting numbers and the new ones might be a better laugh. At least, they won't know about all that shit you did when you were a kid.
