I thought he'd actually already died til a couple of weeks ago when he was shuffling around on some late night programme.

He was the devil's snooker player, and Ronnie is his antichrist son.

A real rebel who got into loads of trouble,,,his only way out was to go on the piss with Oliver read,, what a player though.

then along came the Hurricane, just like the time before and the time before that..

Can remember him being fookin nuts, but he played with his heart and extravagance that made most people respect him at least for his snooker ability. A proper legend of the game and another lost to the demons of drinking and smoking. YNWA Alex

As a non-fan of snooker I never cared a shit about Alex Higgins when he was alive and in his prime, just like I never cared a shit about him when he started hitting the buffers, and indeed I don't care a shit about him now that he's dead either, except to just say here that I don't give a shit about Alex Higgins.

Wife beating, anti-Catholic, bigoted cunt.

Read his autobiography before lionising him.

His Family are looking to save a few quid on the funeral.

They're gonna be cremated in his cue case!

fac251 is all his fault. he owned "alex higgins snooker club" aka hurricane club in oldham (and a couple elsewhere) , then went bankrupt, bought by Toyko Project, aka Tokyo Industries, and here we are today.
