All of the choices of the thread starter seem to have one main thing in common - and that is, they've all got really fucking rubbish names.

What is it with bands these days who are so bereft of inspiration they simply adopt the word 'The' and then follow it with something very mundane....

The Script....

The Drums...

Next, we'll have .... The Bass.....

Like the way The Smiths used to always credit The Bass and The Drums....

I suppose it's just easier for some to start names with "The". It's one of those trends that will never die.
