If I haven't put up yer team - put it in yerself with the score and yer match report:D

Celtic beat the mighty Partick Thistle....or as Billy Connolly refers to them..Partick Thistle Nil:lol: Loadsa chances spurned by the King Of Kings, but Henrik always comes good in the end, and scored the winner with 20 minutes to go, Celtic rested a few players ahead of the 2nd leg of the Champions league qualifier against FC Basle - good to see that Didier Agathe has returned from injury:nod: Neil Lennon received a standing ovation from both sets of fans, after "the worst week of my life" for those of you who don't know - Lennon retired from international football this week due to a death threat before he was due to captain Northern Ireland for the first time - his only crime being a Catholic Celtic player:nonono: Some things really are more important than football:nod: Over to you lot.....How did your team fare?

Every year it's the same with Chelsea (and Liverpool) you's seem to do well against Man U & The Arse but struggle, as I've said against the likes of Southampton, Charlton, Villa etc.... It'll be good to see Chelsea and the Scousers put up more of a challenge this year:nod: Is Hasselbaink leaving? and according to The Currant Bun, Guidjohnsen is on his way to Sunderland:nonono: This is Houllier's 5th year as well, and I do recall him saying within 5 years he'll have won the league (Correct me if I'm wrong Hanky) they have finished 4th, 3rd, and second in the last few years.....are Liverpool good enough to go one further this year?

Jeff - she must know whether you've got a knob by now matey:evil4:

Woo-hoo, Spurs won 1-0. A win is a win, and Keller makes a couple of nice saves. There's a long way to go though, and it certainly doesn't look like there'll be many gimmes.

I thought we put a fairly good challenge last year. The points haul accumulated would have seen us champions in many other recent years. Obviously Arsenal are an outstanding team domestically at the moment. I'd have to say we trail them in a few deparments. We're still definintely capable of mounting a serious challenge though, which is good enough for me, though we seem to have attracted some of the most fickle whingers in football over recent years. It should be interesting to see how Houliier handles a whole campaign were he himself is placing the burden of expectancy at the feet of his players. In previous years he's always maintained it'd take time. And let's hope he remains healthy into the bargain. Player to watch Danny Murphy. Can he put some of his woefully inconsistent games behind him and eliminate the need for a new sigining down the right? The early signs look good. We have had some excellent players suther(eh? how the fuck did that slip through?obviously I meant suffer) a few poor years before developing into an automatic first choice, Whelan and Venison spring to mind.

HANK...the NEW number 9 is looking good.A serious challenge to ARSENAL and MAN UTD again, with LEEDS,CHELSEA and NEWCASTLE also in the mix.I am well pleased with JOHN O'SHEA and is he looking more steady than WES BROWN already. We are still very open at the back though and it is looking that tonight is a BIG test.:D Cheers ROCKET MICK :cool2:

As far as i can make out Chelsea want the money owed for Zenden & Petit scrubbed(Barca) and want 13 million for Jimmy. Gudjohnsen wont leave Chels esp for 'Sunderland' he'd get mugged going to the toilets at half time....lol.
