Radcliffe And Maconie to leave Radio 2

What an absolute shit. They're leaving their brilliant week nights Radio 2 show and being replaced by, er, Jo fuckin Wylie . Dreadful news.

Can see sales of digital radios soaring. Mark Reilly's show is ace, anyway.

makes perfect sense to me. leave radio2 to to the 'Dadrock-havent-bought-a-CD-since-i-was-17" Shed 7 fan crowd, put all the good, but non-commercial stuff on 6. i want a spinmasters 10-2am show on 6music. or Stu allen.

I get home around 2pm weekdays so will be able to listen to the last couple of hours of their show each day but I just think their show works brilliantly as an evening show . Radcliffe apparently wants to get out of doing evening radio and do a daytime slot though.A shame as the ideal solution would have been for them to simply switch from Radio 2 in the evening to 6Music in the evening.
