R.I.P. BOB GREAVES

Really sad news, Bob passed away on Monday 14th. Anyone remember him from GRANADA REPORTS (pre-GRANADA TONIGHT),the show that introduced us to TONY WILSON,LUCY MEACOCK (occasional News At Ten anchorwoman), FRED TALBOT,RICHARD & JUDY and more. Used to love his banter with Tony Wilson,and his funny Outside Broadcasts. God bless "HAPPENING" BOB...

Another Granadaland legand,, was it Bob who had a Elephant sniffing around his bits when he was on live , dunno though some classic banter by the man.

Another face from my formative years, another trusted name, another comforting voice, another friend I never met, another legend.

.......awful news......used to love him on Granada Reports...his best bit was playing a low slung bass with Hooky one Friday night before Kick-Off and getting down to 'those sexy love notes' as Hooky put it................
