Grim. Just goes to show what a fucked up "industry" the music biz is. In any other profession if you perpetually showed up to work high on more drugs than a Glaxo factory you'd be sacked on the spot. Instead she's shoved out on a promotional tour to dodder around a stage like a pissed 80 year-old.
The record label are obviously desperate for her to get another album out regardless. If she karks it along the way they probably have several "commemorative" reissues lined up.
Can't stand her music personally.. very contrived.
She is a fucking minging skank with not a single gram of talent in her whatsoever. The fact that she is a role model for so many just depresses and disgusts me. The fact that, thanks to her, the Zutons now have one of the most annoyingly over played songs ever (albeit sadly not done in their style of course) rankles so much.
Her and Pete Cockerty should both have died of whatever their never-ending addictions were, end of story.

I can't say I have ever despised two people as much as I despise these two.
The lyrics of that Cure song "Shiver And Shake" comes to mind the moment I see these two mentioned in the press any time.
