Best albums for the Last year...

I've been out of the loop for new albums... most of the obvious large group albums have been major disappointments

Radiohead (I miss the Jeff Buckley copy years...) terrible Gorrilaz - simply horrid Massive Attack - boring Chris Isaac -bland Editors - deleted when heard once

Only Elbow's recent is really good (but not as strong as prior releases)

I'm in a lull... anyone suggestions?

The only albums I can recommend from last year are the a-ha and Duran Duran LPs.

I'm just about to buy the new Example CD album though, just for the monster #1 smash single Changed The Way You Kissed Me alone. Look out for some quality reinterpretations of this monster, monster tune in the near future...

Thanks to you, I checked out his first solo album "A Streetcar Named Disaster" - liked what I heard and then bought the album for just a quid from his website shop.

How did I never come across this guy and his music earlier?
