As you'll have guessed from some of my own posts in previous years, I have no faith in party politics, nor do I hold any faith in our so-called political democracy (where individual state countries don't have the legal muscle to tell multi-continental companies what they can and cannot do).
Keeping (and applying) the 50p top-rate tax bracket may slowly ease the defecit burden on the UK government, but where will all our call-centre and I.T. posts disappear to? Pastures where governments are a soft touch on human rights?
