I think I bought What's The Story (Morning Glory) back in 95 but at the end of the day the trouble with Oasis was they were never on Factory. And thank god for that.Simple as .
Oasis were an original band to which no one had ever heard the likes of before. Plus they were huge. Liam once said about cracking America that oasis were bigger than jesus's runny poo's.
I remember being played Definitely Maybe by a mate just after it had come out and confidently declaring that it was just boring dad rock and they'd never become really famous... Kiss of death... 
That said some of their early b-sides are alright... I was definitely Team Blur though in the Britpop wars... Gwaham was an utter genius...

Not sure about that... always thought they were a knock off of the Beatles with a more "modern" sound and that Liam thought he was Lennan reincarnate.

This, and Definitely Maybe were the only 2 decent Oasis albums.
After that, I bought most of their other stuff hoping for a return to form, and by Don't Believe The Truth I accepted this was never going to happen.
Beady Eye seem more of the same, poor latter-day Oasis sounding.
On the contrary though, I do quite like Noel's new solo material!
Kuntsabian are one of the very worst and ugliest bands in the world.
They remind me of Reef - even though they're nothing like 'em.
They're just horrid, dated, belchingly awful lad-rock.
With a Russell Brand / Noel Fielding hybrid as one of the members.
What is it with so many crap bands with names that start with the letter K???
Besides, how ironic that they choose to name their third album after a DINOSAUR - which is what they are effectively ....
