He was on my list last year, thought I'd missed it, but he popped his clogs just in time, so I need to add another for this years top ten, I'll get my thinking cap on.

And yes, I may be a predictable middle aged leftie, but that witch has left a massive scar on this country.

I'm in no way a fan of thatcher but t least she didn't force us to join the euro. And labour have hardly covered themselves in glory in recent times.

I'll take that as a compliment. I'm usually told I'm stuck in the 90's :spit:

But ultimately it was Blair and Brown who kept you out of the Euro? as for Thatcher - she did inspire some good protest songs like Ghost Town and Shipbuilding..:\ohwell:

That makes absolutely no sense on two counts

  1. No PM has ever forced us to join the Euro. Not just Thatcher.
  2. More significantly, the Euro didn't actually exist when Thatcher was in power.

Just as a point.

Considering Thatchers current state of health, you know, advanced dementia, semi-regular mini strokes, lack of mobility thanks to arthritis, being wheeled out by the Tory party every so often...

If you want her to suffer why dont you want her to stay alive?

And another thing, when she does die, you do realise that such will be the media coverage and reaction, that it's most likely going to lead to a resurgence in support for her, her policies, and her legacy, thus strengthening the current government?

England joined the EEC under the Tories, and the EEU under the Tories, I'm not opposed to being European, but thought I should point that out.

Yeah 'cause if Thatcher died tomorrow all the scars she inflicted would magically disappear like they never happened wouldn't they:laugh: Horse has already bolted etc

I'm disappointed reports of Jon Bon Jovi's death were revealed as untrue, though if he had just imagine the amount of Bon Jovi shite blaring out of every radio, bar and pub for the next six months? We're spared that horror, for now

Since when did this thread turn into a perverted wish list??

;)

If so, then please god let it be Pete Cockerty.

And Jimmy Carr.

And Tony Blair.

And yes..... her.

Well, at least that Ugly Korean Dwarf has gone.... thank the lord. What's with all the hysteria? It's like Mao TseTung all over again ffs!!!

The NME. Jesus wept, even their website is appalling. It's just one big fucking mess isn't it? Adverts and videos haphazardly clogging up the screen, non stories about Frankie fcuking Decoza or whatever his stupid name is having a fight on Twatter with Rooney, links with pics to click on that disappear before you've moved the cursor to anywhere near it and even if you are plucky enough to catch it the link is slow to load, videos that take 6 hours to load then play something completely different to what you wanted. Muppets all.

It's inevitable the end will be near for the crummy rag - who in their right mind would even think of paying £2.70 or whatever the fuck it costs now for such a tawdry publication which frankly ceased to be relevant and crucial when its rivals sunk in the late 90s and early 2000s...? The days of the trio of inkies (Sounds, MM and NME) being essential reading ended as the 90s drew to a close, never to regain their former glory ever again.

Their website has always been a complete and utter joke anyway....

God, I can't believe how much I detest the NME now...weird innit?

:banghead: :banghead:
