I don't work for the British Heart Foundation, but I hope today's campaign will help encourage more people to beat tobacco.
One issue that I would like to raise is this: a BBC1 Panorama documentary roughly ten years ago featured a former smoker who claims that nicotine replacement treatments do NOT work. I believe him, as the nicotine is the addictive substance that you're supposed to be trying to cut loose from.
