I got Vic Venturi (50/1) in sweepstake at work. plus i went eachway on Wierd Al and Junior for a couple of punts.

I had some money on Synchronised. As much as I enjoy my once a year flutter on the National, I must admit I think i'd struggle to win an argument with the animal rights people who say the race is cruelty to animals.

Agreed I will second that.

But that last Bunnymen album was pure pish. One good track on it,the opener, and the rest sounded like one on Mac's solo projects.(not as good as slideling) I wish Mac would go back to using his rhythm guitar like the good old days. "Rock Around the Clock" lips & the game. They pipped New order that night on the Whistle Test. Ayeeeeee
