The ZX Spectrum reaches 30

One of my biggest regrets is letting go of my Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2, the standard plastic-buttoned keyboard computer which enjoyed its' time in the 1980s.

Classics like Horace Goes Skiing and Molar Mouth came free with it, but boy weren't there some brilliant programs available at computer retailers around the country. Mine was an American Football game, another brilliant one was the rugby union game. I can still remember the catchy tune it played on the main menu!

I had a ZX81 for a while, spent whole weekends typing in code from magazines to play a shit text based game!

was fun though!

I sold my sprectrum and atari console for £25 in about 1990. I wished i still had it but you can play some of the games on the internet. you need to download an emulator program but jetpack and manic minor are on there.

i loved bombjack, batty (breakout type game), ghosts and goblins, green beret, commando, monty mole, match of the day.

happy days.

I got a Speccy +2 in the loft with a load of cassettes, and a C64 and an Amstrad... they weren't my faves though that had to be the AMIGA Some of the music on them games was fantastic.

Oh how i LOVED the Speccy. The Ultimate games were best.
