Anyone been to a gig at this place? - pal of mine about to purchase tickets but only seating available. Not keen on watching the backs of peoples heads.

Tis a massive place. Okay if you're first few rows at front or in the first couple of blocks at the side - after that you may as well be watching the gig on tv, as you just end up looking at the screens.

Seating map can be found here:

(Soz, still too lazy to find out how to do links).

Hope this helps fella! :D

... yes it does.

Cheers Karzee! - most informative and most helpful.

Shall pass details back to person in question for his evaluation. I'm guessing, armed with this tomb of info., they will decide not to book up.

Sitting at a gig, it's like having chips with no vinegar or Tommy S to hand.

Saw NO there in 98 with Underworld. Looks like an Ice Hockey arena - oval with a flat area in the centre. Like Kezzie says though, it's vast. Thankfully you could make your way down onto the floor for the Order and Underworld, mind. Far too big though, not in any way 'intimate'. Might as well watch a gig in an aircraft hangar.

.. and the acoustics are about the same as an aircraft hangar full with planes revving the bollocks of the engines...
