Have an update on this which will hopefully answer our questions for the time being.....

Ok, ALL 6 Manchester dates have been CANCELLED. They will not take place this weekend as originally advertised, nor will the Play be performed during Oct 23rd - 26th as has been mentioned more recently.

A decision is expected to be made in the NEXT 72 HOURS as to whether the Play will be rescheduled and this will depend on how well the first set of dates are received. If the Play is to be staged in Manchester, it is anticipated that it will be at some point in the next 3 weeks.

All a bit of a nuisance really. If anyone else gets any news on this 'decision' please share it here!.

More e-mails from Wayahead this arvo saying all next weekend's performances have been postponed. Again.

Funny cos Keef Allen's in the Grauniad today talking about the performances in Cardiff. So at least it did get off the ground somewhere.

Wonder who they've got live in Cardiff?

Was Ed Blaney involved anywhere ? The man who used to manage The Fall but somehow contrived not once but twice to book and subsequently cancel US tours because he had forgotten to acquire visas ?

... also, Pringles released another new flavour:

Ranch-Rageous The coolest of the cool, the tangiest of the tangy, do you have what it takes to handle the bite?

Pringles ... it's the gift that keeps on giving.

:hat:

never quite understood this chasing egg concept, the "egg" being thrown from one person to the other. sure people run onto passes, but then its the same in the round ball game. is it just cos the laws are too complicated for people that don't follow it?

& just after you were moaning the other day about them not bringing out any new ones, if I was a cynic I would say those events were related...

It was on Liquid News on Choice last night, Keith Allen looked pissed, seems the Manchester one is going ahead after all.

To be honest, after all the palaver and the crap review it's had, I don't think I can be arsed!

it did look a bit grim to be honest, but apparently although the critics slated it the audience loved it,

"they just all sat on the floor in a big tent and got stoned"

besides, didn't cardiff have ub40 at their ones? I mean that can't have helped the ratings...

...but not until next year apparently and NOs management are now not so keen for them to be involved with something that's had such dire reviews, wait & see I think.....
