Yep. And by the looks of your last two performances you better start getting used to it!
Two wins on the trot from Berti now. There good those Germans eh?
Only the last two? You're being far too generous. We were shite against Sweden, shite against Nigeria, shite against Brazil....
I thought we lacked some experienced old heads out there. Where were the likes of Dave Watson, Mick Channon and David Platt? Alarmingly there was no one out there called Trevor (The mind boggles). Owen was crying out for opportunity to cry out "Release me Trevor" and it just wasn't forthcoming.
Mills must start the next match, if we can’t get Mick, Danny will have to do. Continuity of names must not be overlooked. I thought Bridge was unlucky his parents’ gamble of giving him a retro seventies name looked a safe bet but alas no one broke through in the seventies with that popular moniker.
If anyone is left in any doubt, answer me this. When did England last fail to win a game featuring a starting line up including one of the following: Trevor Francis, Trevor Cherry, Trevor Brooking or Trevor Steven?

Were basically pretty SHITE! just cause we got one of the best leagues in the world dont necessarily mean our national team is one of the best in the world - it obviously isnt! The lucrative Premiership as we all know attracts many foreign stars and watching these perform week in week out on our hallowed ground has led to a insane belief that as a nation we are shit hot!
well HELLO! the majority of our Premiership stars bugger off to play for their countrys when the chips are down (ie in the important games to rep your country) and quite rightly so.. leaving us with a few individual talents, Beckham, Owen, Gerrad for example and a lot of plain ordinary players who all think were still playing in a premiership game and scrapping it out for a result...
Fair play peeps....it's about time ye's admitted ye's are pish![]()
We did that a long time ago, have no expectations and ye's won't be disappointed;)
There wasn't anyone called Trevor when we played in the last world cup was there? ... and I'm sure we won a few before the Sea Snake dodged another bullet.
Shuttle Cork® ... I'm not certain England played all that rhubard without custard. Even though I was ill throughout proceedings I could still focus and this is what I noticed. I noticed that we didn't play all that rhubard without custard. Do you know what I think? - maybe not, but you might have a general idea based upon previous posts. Well I'll let you now anyway because it'll get things off my chests.
I think Macedonia are quite good, and as England are quite good the match was evenly balanced. Football is an unpredictable beast but some results are fairly predictable. Although not many humans had noted the rise of Macedonian football I had, and I'm possibly slightly psychic. It's more surprising to me, as I knew they were good, to see that people are shocked (a little) that England could only scrape a draw with them. If I was less psychic I would be more surprised but as it is I predicted this score line and the post-match analysis.
So two quite good teams drew ... it was all written in the cards (and stars). I cannot agree that we (Eggland) were 'Pish' or indeed Chips. As Macedonia never beat us and they were ... quite good.
It's only when you get a real unbalance in teams that you'll get a real shocker ... even for us psychics. Take for example the pairing of Wales and, say, Italy. You can take your 5 pound note straight to the bookies when that fixtures released and back the mighty Azuri to bag at least 7 spankers.

Fer once, I just about understood yer post Humpty
Gotta disagree with the 2 good teams bit though, while I slater yer eggland, with the players you's have at yer disposits, you should be good enough to beat Massive Attack;)
The hairy seesaw is clearly past his 26/01/98, give Calamity a go, that would be great for a laugh:D
Massive Attack do have a couple of good waist high runners and a good matchstick, but their nomads at the back were absolute keich.
Ole bronzehair and owenly and mugger shoulda been good enough to get laid, but hey ho 2-2 and everyone's happy
As fer the Wallies against the Italics, if I knew they were 11/4 I woulda had a punt on em, but then again I woulda had the people's republic and the coupon woulda been skiddaddled anyway.
It was like watching the City last night, that comedy defending and a brat getting red for red mist at the end when things hadn't gone his way. Saying that, our keeper tends to catch crosses and corners pretty comfortably.

A.norak stats at your service sir.
Trevor Francis - 9/6/85 0-1 vs Mexico Trevor Brooking - 25/3/81 1-2 vs Spain Trevor Steven - 7/7/90 1-2 vs Italy and, most interestingly, as it drove Ian Curtis to suicide later that day Trevor Cherry - 17/5/80 1-4 vs Wales
