Monty Python Fans of the World, Unite!

Been watching some very silly British men in drag this weekend (no, not Shuggsy and Major Tarantino!). I recently bought the first half of MPFC's second season, and I love every minute of it. There's just not a huge amount of this bizarre silliness on TV anymore. Now, the point of my thread: Which is your favorite Python?

Graham Chapman?

John Cleese?

Terry Gilliam?

Eric Idle?

Terry Jones?

Michael Palin?

None of the Above? :D

I love them all dearly, but I liked Chapman the best. But what about the women? I mean, I was in love with Carol Cleveland!

i think cleese is the funniest (the ministry of silly walks makes me pee my pants every time...and fawlty towers? classic!) but i've always kinda had a 'thing' for michael palin.

just watched brazil again recently, though.

All the PYTHON team were brilliant and as i was a teenager at the time they made me rather SILLY.Still love the MINISTRY OF SILLY WALKS and the LUMBERJACK SONG. :D My parrot thought they were crap though :D

Ah, John Cleese by just a bit over Micheal Palin. Stuff like the Bookshop, the fish license bit, his role as the priest vs. Michealangelo in the Hollywood Bowl movie are tops. Still, all of the others make me laugh a lot as well.

John Cleese is one of the funniest blokes ever to walk this earth, no question about it.

I hold my belief as Chapman being the "silliest" ever. He was able to play all of the establishment types to perfection. He was firm, serious, and unwavering to the point that it made every appearance hillarious. Yet, Gilliam's animation was what drew me to Python in the first place. Seeing things that bizarre at age 10 made me reckon.

I always liked Cleese vs. Palin skits (Parrot sketch, Argument Clinic) the best. Both Cleese and Chapman did establishment figures with a bit of madness, and it was always nice to see one of them square off against Jones and Palin (Cambridge-Oxford rivalry).
