GONG

Not trying to sound like a space cadet here....but anyone heard or seen em..? I came into ownship of a couple of their LP's many years ago and have just came across them(clearing out the attic)' 'Angels Egg & Radio Gnome'

I like the first one, Magick Brother, and the early Soft Machine stuff with Daevid on bass. The rest of it gets on my nerves, but they do have their fans. "Obsolete" by Dashiell Hedayat (actually a pseudonym) is a great record that has a lot of Gong members playing on it, it's sort of like a French version of Faust (the German band, not the opera or the book by Goethe).
