Played them off the park as I predicted a fortnight ago. Men and boys. T'was just too f***ing easy!!

Celtic in the Premiership? A top three finish in season 1, no question.

Sutton for England?

Better foil for Owen than Heskey any day of the week. Might just be the player we've missed since Sheri past his best.

Mind, Smith looked a class above last night.

Sutton and Smith up fron for England then?

The SAS ride again!

You think England would re-assign Sutton after his silly outburst he would never be a squad player!? ... I doubt it.

Sutton is wasted not being involved with England, he's been class for ages and your exactly right - he would be an excellent partner for a smaller frontman heading and passing for Owen, whilst having the ability to score! (Heskey doesn't).

Well, Sven was at the first leg at Parkhead. Pity Sutton played like a donkey on the night!

Can't ever see the premiership thing happening. Which two clubs would just drop out of the premiership for them? Besides my uncle told me about Rangers visit to Villa in 1976 for a "friendly" and the chaos that ensued. Football could do without all the religious bigotry and baggage that would come with the Old Firm.

What's wrong with a wee bit of bigotry?:D

I'm with Mr F, I seem to remember saying something like....we couldnae play any worse and we'll beat them at Ewood.......I fookin love being correct:rolling:

The premiership fer the Old Firm will never happen, as I have said before, but I'm glad that Celtic done the business home and away. Might shut up some of the half wits doon here.

Henrik Larsson KING OF KINGS another couple of years and Sutton will be eligible to play fer Scotland;)

He was totally villified though - hottest striker in the country at that time and he got asked to play for the 'B' team whereas the likes Dion Dublin were chosen for the 'A' team.

Mind, Hoddle brought about his own downfall eventually. . .

On reflection CELTIC played a very cool and great display away from home although you would not think so with their great following.LARSSON and SUTTON were quite brilliant at times and CELTIC never gave the ROVERS a chance.First leg they played bad and won...second leg great...and won. Maybe one day they will play in a new EUROPEAN LEAGUE that will eventually become standard.Until then i can't see any way that most PREMIERSHIP CLUBS would want them here!? Can you?:D
