all right no one else has said it, and since i wont be anywhere near a pc tomorrow, i just want to say happy turkey day to all my fellow american NOOLs. hope no one has to work!! i have to come in friday though.... by the way, do you barbaric english have a day like us, where we sit down, watch the same damn movies over and over again, cut into a giant bird (not to mention relatives we dont like), and stuff yourself like theres no tomorrow? just kidding about the barbaric remark btw, your prisoners are probably better mannered than we are...

although...i've never liked the holiday. don't care for the colour scheme. in fact, i'm not one for holidays at all. they're too forced--know what i mean? (except for halloween--it's fun, you get to dress up and it's close to my birthday, so i like that one).

The bird is in the oven as I type. Will start peeling spuds here in a couple of hours. Green bean casserole. Green salad. Corn casserole. Hot buttered rolls. Pecan pie. Lemon pie. Chocolate pie. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.....Thanksgiving.

Happy Turkey Day! In my family we have to wait for unbearable hours before the food even gets out on the table (one of the reasons I'm down at my mom's today, to get some luch beforehand). And of course, the same shitty movies (though the USA channel is a notch above with Blade Runner playing later in the day) are on TV. But....it's the one day you can get away with undoing your belt at the table.
