Biggest game of the season, in many people's opinion, up at the [cough] 'Theatre of Dreams' tomorrow.

But who's gonna win? And who do you want to win?

Must confess, United were always my '2nd team' as a kid - gloryhunters went for Liverpool but United still had a certain amount of kudos about them. This was the 70's, mind. Certainly not the case now.

And I do watch more Arse games than the average punter, though I've never been a fan - just have a mate with a spare season ticket whose wife never makes midweek games. You can't really turn down the chance to watch Champions League footie, now can you? Especially when it's only 20mins from your front-door too.

It'll probably be a bore draw, but quite frankly I hope Arsenal stuff 'em. Keane's behaviour this summer was a disgrace to football, and the purchase of Ferdinand proved ultimately that money talks loudest in this game. Shame those two won't be around to partake.

I won 50quid off a Liverpool supporter last wkd and im confident enough to bet that again, but no Arsenal fans seem to want to take me up on it... what ya scared of eh?? ;)

Must confess that like most Villa fans I can't stand ManU, the arrogance of the fans (being the fans that invented football hooliganism), and their contempt for any other club. The current Arsenal side play the best attacking football that I can remember and their fans are human and not arrogant in the slightest. Can't say the same about their neighbours Spurs though. Heart says the Arse but without Campbell I feel Utd could edge it.

As fer the Manky Lads and The Arse....I've always sided with the Mancs....can't see them getting beaten at home...therefore Man U 2 Arse 1.

It's all in good spirits, we have several blue noses here at work who think they're gonna win......I'll have the phone messages ready for the eedgits straight after the game.....gonna be in London all day tomorrow again, for the Manics gig at Wembley Arena, I think we're gonna head to Kilburn and find an Irish pub for the Cletic / Rangers game

You'll probably be too strong for the side we're likely to field and what with home advantage... Perhaps Houllier will add a bit more strength to the side with that in mind. Biscan is actually a half decent centre half, a bit short though, so when starting alongside Babbel they get a bit exposed in the air.

I shouldn't worry, we have Dion Dobbin up front although Vass is starting to look the part again. The game is on Sky but Villa are charging only £15 for tickets. Very kind of them one week before Xmas :clap:

Ours are only £14 for the Wortho, still only managed 26,000 for Ipswich. There was a good turnout for Southampton (about 10,000 more) in the previous round. Dublin's just the type who could do some damage in the air. Probably won't be much good for Dudek's confidence, starting in that game.

Other Prem teams usually like to give their opposition a fightin' chance in this cup!

Serves you right for playing on a plastic pitch and banning away fans in the 80s and 90s! Bought a good following to Villa though and at least your fans never went on the rampage as at Watford.

You leave our turnip alone, GT brought Villa back from the dead in the late 80s. His last game before taking the England job was at Goodison, we took 8,000 fans to give him a send off. Bet he wished he'd stayed now!!

I still haven't forgiven Utd for the '83 Cup Final (you need a long memory if you support Brighton...), so I guess Arsenal had better win.

Villa also used to cause me a little discomfort following the Gareth Barry business, but they have redeemed themselves in my eyes for having the foresight to get shot of that twat Gregory...

What a result!!! United were the hungrier side, the more skillful side and denied Arse a sniff at goal for most of the match!!

Even with 4 key players still out with injury and Liverpool going down to Charlton yesterday United are gathering pace and becoming very very dangerous...

Funnily enough Portsmouth is my 'second' team as i went to Uni there a stonesthrow from Fratton Park and parents only live about half hours drive away.
