The twins shared my listening time equal with New Order - they are a very special band - wish they were still putting out albums! My favorite has to be Blue Bell Knoll -

i can't really vote in this poll because i haven't heard all of their albums, only treasure and heaven or las vegas. i have to say, though, that when the latter was released, it got me through a large portion of 11th grade!
Blue Bell Knoll is my favorite. I love Carolyn's Fingers; it was the first video I saw of them when the album came out. Liz needs to do more projects, like Massive Attack. They would not be such a stellar band if not for her work with them.
Blue bell knoll
By the is that you? You look just like the guy in Save the Last Dance and Barbershop!
is anyone into Violet Indiana (Robin Guthrie's new band)? they're not too shabby...definitely not the Twins, but good nonetheless.
Saw a concert of them in Brussels, oct 1990 that was ok. I don't have any of the above but Love's Easy Tears (12") was a favourite for a little while. One of my speakers blew up on that one long time ago.
I rather liked Head Over Heels, but my personal fave was always the Pink Opaque - a compilation, granted, but a ruddy excellent one. Both not present, so I went with Blue Bell Knoll too.
I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOVE Cocteau Twins....! EVERY album they've done is just mindblowing....Bar none! Robin Guthrie - what a guy! Takes so much acid as well. Why else is his music so celestial?? It's all under the influence of sheer mind expansion mate! Liz Fraser - what a voice. Simon Raymonde - what a boozer! Pure class.....
I'd love for Fraser, Guthers and Raymonde to get back together again and join myself to share a vat or three of the brown stuff followed by lots of tabs.... my idea of bliss.... allriiiiiiiiiight!!
;)
One of the dudes down my local vinyl emporium (sadly deceased (the vinyl emporium, not the dude)) used to call them "The Cocktail Twits".
The Cocteau's take second place in my listening after NO. For me this one is always a toss up between BBK and HOLV. Today, just having listened to Frou Frou Foxes......., it's Heaven Or Las Vegas!

such an incredible album...
I love "Victorialand" because it's their darkest and most mysterious album. I've never heard anything like it.
