It's so funny to see people struggle because of the snow.

Damn it, we're pros in that area. New York City received a good one last month too, it was quite funny...

Here, we don't have much, 6 cm last night, but other than that, it's pretty weak.. we got ice for the new year.. which is worst!! but never like 5 years ago, where we lost electricity for 3 weeks because of a giant ice storm.

i really miss snow. it gets to 60 degrees fahrenheit here (15 celsius) and people freak out. me, i need my seasons. i miss that colorado snow and tormenting my cat by putting him on my sled (it even had brakes!) and sending him screaming down the snowy hill. ...course, it would be easy now that he's cremated and in a little tin in the bookcase....

I found that last bit hilarious. Does that make me a bad person?

don't worry. for about a year after he died (at age 21 1/2!) whenever i got pissed i would open the tin and make my friends wave and say hello to him, so i have a history of anthropomorphizing cremated animals.

*sigh* i see snow for more than six months of the year. :(

..but on the topics of sleds i used to have a gt racer(a snazzy sled), it had stickers on it that made me believe it was more threating that it really was. flame stickers to indicate high velocity..it was grand.

if you miss it that much agent i'll bottle ya up some, we only have about 3 feet to spare in upstate new york. someone also mention that it has snowed 19 straight nights somewhere near me...but even better was that it was the first time since 1887/88 (yep) that the Albany area was hit with two 20+ inch storms, but back then they were 4 months apart; so we had something that hasn't happened probably since the ice age

If it helps you feel better.. tomorrow with the wind factor, it will be -35 Celcius here.

Never ever I will complain when it's +35 in the summer :D

You have to love winter...!

Fortunatly, usually it's never more than 2 weeks in winter that we have that kind of temperature.. but we still have not much snow.

Problem with Montreal is humidity, these type of temperatures (-35 to +35) are not so difficult when you are in a dry place.. but with humidify, it's unbearable...

Total standstill last week,

People stuck on the Motorway in 20hour traffic jams!

And of course the tubes and trains all ground to a halt because of a few inches of snow during the night.
