Al Jarvis & his beautiful bride Paula Wells, known to many of you on here, tied the knot at a candle-lit converted Blacksmith's Workshop in Gretna Green yesterday - 01/02/03.

A small gathering of immediate family & close friends celebrated with the newly weds over the weekend - and what a cracking time everyone had. WELSH DARREN represented the New Order side of Al's life with a very lucky yours truly gatecrashing the event at 24 hours notice.

Of particular interest to NOOLers - the Wedding service. Paula's entrance to the service was greeted with 'The Vikings', the signing of certificates etc was carried out with Ceremony, the 7" version, filling the venue & photos were taken with Temptation as the background sound. Fitting that the music which has been the focus of Al's life & embraced by Paula should be the soundtrack of their union.

Darren captured the mood perfectly at the end of the reception he stood up & announced 'from all the New Order boys'...'We've had the Ceremony, we've seen the Perfect Kiss & we hope your Dreams Never End!'. Noone could have said it better.

Now they're off to Barbados for 3 weeks. Lucky bleeders ;)

Al & Paula - congratulations & all the best for the future.
