Only heard one song and not really impressed. Then again Massive Attack's records do grow on me slowly.
Hibster, are you going to any of the Massive shows at Brixton?
I've got tickets for the Wednesday I think.
not booked any tickets yet, will have a check in the ol diary - if do will try get same day.
Well, just bought 100th Window today (love the cover) and there is no bonus track on the US version (why does that come as no surprise?
).
you havent missed out. its after the ninth song but its just a few beats (5 or 6) repeated for about half an hour. bor-ring! in fact - probably makes the album better not having it!

Check that, it is on the disc; it starts about 30 seconds or so after the end of Antistar, and I'd shut the player down before at what I thought was the end of that song. Bor-ring is right indeed!
I'm not as taken with this one as I was with the first, or Mezzanine, but I suspect this one will grow with me. Really like the Sinead songs, reminds me of the song she did with Bomb The Bass for some reason.
I agree; it does get better after listening a few times. I was a bit worried about the Sinead O'Connor contributions at first, but her voice fits in really well with the music. I also noticed that the album works very well with headphones on at high volume.
I really like it. It doesn't do more than it needs. It's steady and infectious, two of the things I like about Massive Attack.
