It's been so long since I've seen the first one, I can't quite remember much about it. I really like the second one, alternately found myself laughing out loud and being creeped out. The Army Of Darkness one didn't do much for me.

Are these the Sam Raimi films? I saw them dubbed and do not know whether we are talking about the same films. If they are the Army of Darkness had me laughing my lungs out.

I think the first one is my overall favorite, but I like all 3. The first one just BLEW MY MIND when I first saw it!

evil dead II = Groovy! i met bruce campbell at his book signing he was nice guy, he signed all the books with various evil dead catch phrases i was dissapointed mine didnt say "stay groovy" (like the woman if front of me's did),lol , mine said "shop smart shop s-mart". also the book signing was in the borders at the world trade center about 3 months before the attack

A friend told me that Army of Darkness had originally a very sad ending and that it got changed by the producers. Any truth in this?

Army of Darkness is sooo funny...

Evil Dead 2 was very funny too, but I don't remember it..

As for the original one, it was a university project if I remember right, and I've not seen it since probably 15 years!

haha. it's such a fabulous movie! Bruce Campbell is certainly incredible in all three Evil Dead movies. but Dead By Dawn is the first one in which he gets UBERhammy. it's a classic, no doubt. :)
