God, it really is fuckin great to be alive![]()
After yesterday's super show from the mighty Celts, I am feeling somewhat hungover. Not only did we dominate the game (again) we beat the forces of darkness in style. Alan Thompson was simply outstanding, as were the back 3 and the 2 big guys up front....messrs Hartson & Sutton, contained performances from Lennon, Lambert and Stan, and Sylla doing a great job for the injured Agathe. It really should have been a hat-trick for Big John, but didn't he make up for it with a superb goal, chesting it down and hammering it past the hapless Stephanie Klos. I must mention how poor the huns actually were, how we laughed when Tony Vidmar (currently with Middlesboro) layed the astonishing claim that Craig Moore is worth double that of Rio Ferdinand (for our overseas readers this means that he values Moore at £60 million
) and also the Rangers manager claim that no team in Europe could afford to buy Mikel Arteta....so is he worth more than the £60m for Moore?
Ricksen and Moore should have seen red cards, and Celtic should have been awarded a penalty when Thompson was tripped in the box on the stroke of half-time, such is life with these referee's in Scotland! But, I'm not complaining, we were assured from the start, and I think the final corner count was 14-2, which kind of shows you how superior we were, and it was good to see Big Eck take the huff when Chic Murray informed him of this statistic at the interview after the match. Has anyone found Barry Ferguson yet? he went missing after the first 10 minutes, and as for Shota Arveladze and Peter Lovenkrands, they held as much of a threat as Cliff Richard at a whore house.
So, Celtic back within three points with a game in hand, we'll be back on top of the league where we belong shortly, then it's a wee matter of disposing of the pesky scousers in the UEFA cup. Then a wee matter of beating Rangers in next weeks League Cup Final.......Good to be alive? You better believe it;)
