Does anybody on this forum care about this? I care quite a lot, since I've been following the number one seed in the tournament since I was five years old.

I won a March Madness pool (on points as the tie-breaker) last year when I worked at the place I recently left. Pissed a couple of people off because I know nothing about basketball.

I won quite a few football pools even though I know nothing about football. I just picked.

I hope you win your pool!!!!!

And there was me expecting a post about the anti-war protests all over the world.....

Well, I'm a bit pissed as my team (Oregon) rolled over and played dead to Utah; how they beat Kansas earlier in the year is a mystery to me now.

I'm in the middle of the 3 pools, so I'm not doing too bad right now, but I would've given up all winnings this year if that guy from Maryland had missed that shot against NC-Wilmington ( and that guy from Wisconsin-Milwaukee had made that point-blank layin and eliminated Notre Dame).

Though I'm also a Duke fan, I've got Kentucky beating Texas in the finals.

Kurtis Blow? Old skool rapper, first rapper signed to a major label, I believe.

:clap::clap: for the Arizona/Gonzaga game that went to double overtime; both teams played their hearts out, a shame somebody had to lose. ALMOST as good a game as Duke/Kentucky 92.

Texas plays UConn tomorrow night. I can't wait! T.J. Ford is such a stud. I hope he stays around for a couple more years........

Anyway, I have Texas beating UK (Kentucky) for the title. That would be so sweet. And right on the heels of our national championship in baseball.......

Syracuse tomorrow, cuz, Hey, you never know.

Hell yeah, go Syracuse! I'd picked Mississippi State for the Final Four, who lost first time out, and everybody else in all of the pools I'm in has Oklahoma going all the way. I'm wary though, as Jim Boeheim has let me down in the past before, not as much as Roy Williams of Kansas though.

actually the tournament is right down the road from me at the Pepsi Arena; so when you watch on Sunday, think of me (hahaha)

Syracuse won against Auburn tonight! *Barely*, but still

But Oklahoma on Sunday, eeieee, a bit iffy on that one...

The eternal SU optimist in me will cheer, and hope that Boeheim doesn't :explode: on the sidelines one of these days.

This tread right here is the direct inverse of all those soccer (oops, football) threads that all of us Yanks can't understand at all.

I don't remember any Longhorns being associated with Marquette. Nobody, including the somewhat mighty Texas squad would have beaten Marquette on Saturday. It sucks, but what a run. Thanks Bogans!

Congrats to Subsy and the 'cuse for whipping them Longhorns. Well done! Doesn't matter that all of my brackets have long since been shot to hell, it'll be great just to see one of the two coaches who've always caused me trouble in the past get their first championship (and remember, it took John Wooden awhile to get his first as well). Seeing as how I have lots of family in Topeka and Kansas City, all I've gotta say is.................

Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!!!!!!

Sorry took so long, I was so happy I was getting pissed all week. Nah, wait, that's this weekend in Niagara Falls.

:clap::clap: to Syracuse, beating 4 Big 12 teams in a row for the NCAA title. Even if Kansas had made a decent percentage on their free throws at the end, they were clearly outplayed for most of the game, and the Orange definitely deserved the victory. Finished 2nd in the pool that meant the most to me, so I'm happy with the results.
