New Order cd's in your will

I'm studying wills in Law class and was thinking about what I'd give to whom if I died.

I'd probably give my Oasis stuff to my friend Sarah because she's the only one who'd ever listen to Oasis that I know.

I'd give my Smiths cd's (except for The Queen is Dead) to my friend Jenny cause she needs some more selection (nobody should be listening to Korn all day) but she probably wouldn't listen to them.

But everything else, including every New Order/Joy Division item I own, would go to my little kid sister.

That's how lonely I am out here in Minnesota, land of 11,000 lakes. Nobody to talk to about New Order.

So, who would you leave your New Order stuff to in your will?

Decision has been made ever since my son (who is now 6) started singing the songs with me at age four!!!

My CD collection (New Order, Joy Division, Electronic) goes to my son.

New Order cd's to my sister Joy Division cd's to my sister

Rest of my collection (specially Smiths cd's, Stone Roses cd's, The cure, The Jam, Pulp, David Bowie, The Clash, Go-betweens) to 4 of my friends

Belle and Sebastian, Björk, Portishead and Massive Attack cd's for some classmates of Philosophy

My NO/JD collection will be buried with me. Including my HD with all my MP3s.

i would give my entire CD collection to my friends Ben and Linzie.

my best friend asked me one day when we were in college 'if you, like, die, can i have all of your music?' i said yes, and she still reminds me of this pact every few years or so, so they're all going to her.

Think I have to go with Subsy on this.

Despite years of trying, no-one I know appreciates NO/JD enough to be left my collection (not that it's particularly extensive). The thought of the CDs & vinyls gathering dust in a loft....

Who says I'm ever gonna die?

If I had to pick someone, it'd probably be my sister, she loves music in general and even has an appreciation for NO (just a little, though)

Otherwise, I'd bury it with me :D

Thing is, what if you wanted to be cremated?

That would be cool, to have your remnants and New Order/Joy Divison products ashes mingle together for all eternity. Very romantic.

My friend Kelley already asked for my CD collection. I said yes provided she takes all of them and listens to every album. She also can't separate any parts of the collection ie sell the ones she doesn't like. She's the only one I know who has a chance of liking any of the stuff I like. And she needs more variety than Marilyn Manson.

I'd probably leave them to my friends. Even if they didn't like them, it'd at least give them an idea of what I was into.

No one appreciates my Jam/TSC/Paul Weller, Who, PSB, Ultravox, Roxy Music, and the rest of my record collection. My NO/JD collection is insignificant compared to what people here have.

I'm taking the whole thing with me.
