i apologize if many of you have not yet seen A Mighty Wind - i don't know when it's been released outside of the USA.
my vote goes to Waiting For Guffman.
my absolute favorite Guest mockumentary is This Is Spinal Tap, although Rob Reiner actually directed it (hence its exclusion).
Gonna have to wait to cast a vote until Mighty Wind opens up round here, of which I have yet to see a negative opinion. The parts I saw on TV look pretty good to me.
i haven't yet seen 'a mighty wind', but i'm planning on going as soon as possible (just saw the pianist this week, which was first on my list of film priorities).
both of the others were hilarious, but 'best in show' almost made me piss my pants. i was high as a kite the first time i saw it and i almost ruptured my diaphragm. during the second viewing i was entirely sober and still roared with laughter.

definitely! who's your favorite character? mine is Fred Willard - he plays the hammy announcer at the actual dog show, Buck Laughlin.

Best In Show is definitely fabulous. i absolutely LOVE Fred Willard, but every character was hysterical.
and have you seen the deleted scenes off of the DVD? priceless!

it's really good! i must admit that i was disappointed (not because i didn't enjoy it thoroughly, but because it wasn't quite as enjoyable the first time around; however, i think that's the nature of those films) the first time i saw it (however, i was disappointed with the others ones the first time i saw them, too; and now they're my favorite comedies of all-time), but the second time around was pure class. i DEFINITELY recommend it. it's great.
