Anyone know how much an iPod retails for in the US? I'm looking for the 20Gb model. Over here they're about 399GBP but I've heard they might be the equivalent price in actual dollars and seeing as how I'm making a flying visit to Boston this weekend, I might just track one down! Would be brilliant to collate all those mp3's in one tidy place!

the 20GB model is around $500, so the price difference is about $130. it may be worth it picking up one over here. it's not easy finding mac products, but i think there's an apple store in cambridge, mass., and you can also check best buy or a few other places, which might even be cheaper than the apple store. good luck!
Apple is suppose to be announcing something big today. The rumor is that Steve jobs is going to announce the launch of Apple music service or Something about buying Universak Music. And the other rumor is that a newly designed IPOD will be launched sporting a larger hard drive!
i'm waiting til the price comes down a little bit...i love the iPod though. My friend has the five gig model and still has room on it for more music after a year. The larger, newer models are also good for saving/transporting any file types....
we're clearing out the 10 gig model for 320 bucks at target right now...don't know if that helps you at all Jarvo...
I'm not sure that there are any Targets in the Boston area...

yes, they do have tar-zhay stores in boston. best check them out, al. good prices there.
