Despite the regular Mozza bashing, most of us here love and respect The Smiths and not only because of the Electronic conexion.

I have just heard "How soon is now" being massacred by that pathetic Russian pseudo group which uses all the tricks in the book of the soft perv to grab a miserable portion of attention. I mean TATU.

Now, we all know that our friends who are Smith fans tend to veer to the sheepish. They need our help. Something must be done. Next could be "She's lost Control" or worse.

We must do something: Write to your MP, phone Tone, whatever...as for which measures should the Militant wing take, I leave that to General Muffy and Colonel Rocket but these girls must be stopped.

I would have thought after the god-awful cover of that same song by some never-to-be-remembered group a while back, the music world would have learned its lesson. I was wrong....

As long as "This Charming Man" doesn't fall into the hands of Britney or that other slut Christina....... :barf:

Yep, I make fun of Mozza once in awhile, but I still have a few Smiths records that I'll never part with, he's just an easy target for a joke, like when he complained to Colin B. Morton and Chuck Death that they made his chin too big in the Great Pop Things cartoon. Hell, he was even lampooned on the American TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Mozza should have his own talk show, he could have Jonny Marr on as a co-host.

"Jonny, you have no talent, but please play back-up for me! Ooh-oh!"

The Smiths rule, anybody who dares fuck with their songs should be lined up and shot, or maybe just slapped around the face with flowers.

I recommend you hear the Schneider TM version of "The Light 3000" which I feel does it tremendous justice. If not, it would not have been played at my friend's wedding!
