Alien Quadrilogy DVD set

Good news for all chestbursting fans! The four Alien flicks will be released November 9th on a nine DVD set!

Some interesting facts: -Aliens will be available in both the Special Edition and original cut versions (the later for the first time on DVD!) -Alien3 will feature an additional 60 minute never-before-seen footage -Alien Ressurection will include new opening and ending sequences -Loads of documentaries in the extra DVDs

Now I know why the original DVDs are available for €12 each since last month...

Can't wait for Christmas!

Nice one! My VHS copies of Aliens are a bit shabby by now, so a DVD Special Edition will be very welcome. Glad I held off buying them individually.

I picked up Volume 2 of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 DVD sets, it's got one Mike-hosted episode and two Joels, plus some shorts. I'm more familiar with Mike, having seen it primarily on ScFi, but I'm learning to like and, dare I say, love Joel. I'm just wondering if any of the classic SciFi eps (such as "Soultaker") will be included, or if it's just the Comedy Central years.

Good for you, ol' sleepy eyed Joel is still #1 in my heart, and hell, I love TV's Frank better than any of the sidekicks on the Sci-Fi shows. I'm betting that all future box sets will include a mixture from all 10 years, minus the films that a-holes like Sandy Frank won't be allowed to ever be reissued in any way, shape, or form.

i've heard that the first series of seinfeld will be out on dvd soon - its a question of when not if - they are going through the extras now apparently. can't wait!
