I like having breakfast for dinner, so it'll be an omelette and toast - 5 years ago it would have been a slab of beer, 2 bottles of red and then some junkfood

Last night I had a steak, a potato (oh, this potato has ears...sorry), and part of a salad. I then retired to my den, where in the ambience of candlelight I chortled aloud whilst reading some humorous selections from Melville about a whale and imbibing some Chardonnay from an 18th-century drinking cup. Afterwards, I changed into more formal attire and proceeded to wrap my Jaquar around the nearest light-post downtown. The officer of the law did not find it nearly amusing as myself, as I was quite pissed at the time and could not stop my hysterics. I am writing this from a very nice jail cell at some place called Sing-Sing, and it seems I need "bail" money if I am to escape. The bloody Jerrys tried the same during the war, but I escaped then and I will escape now!

Yours Sincerely Brigadier General Arthur Biggles (Mrs.)

Seeing as how I'm not in the mood for cooking NOW, and will be less so by 9 or 10 PM, I will probably go to Escape from New York Pizza for 2 or 3 slices of Portland's finest. Pizza.

Ravioli and salad, since my mother decided to cook for me tonight. Last night, and most nights before at work, I got Chinese takeout - vegetable dumplings, egg foo young, seseame noodles, and other stuff that I shouldn't have ate at 10pm.

I had two softshell tacos. Homemade but only tortilla, meat and cheese. Since tongiht was my FA squad night (online sim/game) I did not have time to eat properly because the cook took the kids to the lake and returned late after i started flying.

Last night I had a roast beef bagel sandwich.

Sunday night cashew chicken (Chinese).

I'm not having any of that lot for dinner.

not even the pan fried chicken breast? sounds kind of tasty, why not?

Ok, the pan-fried chicken breast DOES sound tastier than the Cowboys, the Mavericks, or the Spurs.

However, because I am a card-carrying liberal, I am only allowed to eat tofu, tempeh, and meat analogues, along with the usual vegetable, fruit, and grain suspects.

Sigh.

Yeah, the Mavs got their tails kicked in free agency. :( It's all due to the puzzling fascination that Nelly has with tall European-Americans...... Damn Bradley's contract!!!!!! :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Now, if La Frentz would only sack up and play tough the outlook wouldn't seem so bleak versus what the rest of the West did in the off season.

If you and PIP will let me know what you schedules are for the next couple of weekends, I'm sure I could arrange a dinner. We could enjoy a fine meal and then try to keep it all down while watching the Pokes.

Something...I hope. Out of money until tomorrow, but I can find something on the shelf, I guess. Just don't want to start cooking at 1 AM.

Could open a can of beans, but then I'll be violating the Clean Air Act all night. Anything else will take too much time.

Here's the update: Missed the last bus home last night, so I walked home...for two feckin' hours. Got home at 2 AM. BUT, because I didn't spend my last dollar on bus fare, I was able to buy some food...had a baked potato with butter, black pepper, and sour cream, and a side of broccoli.
