http://iflyer.tv/event/98830/ THE HACIENDA OISO FESTIVALはゴールデンウィークの二日間、壮大な太平洋を望む大磯ロングビーチの屋内/野外の特設会場で行われる。
Peter Hook & The Light will visit Japan for the first time in April, performing at the Hacienda Festival in Oiso, a festival marking 30 years since the iconic Manchester nightclub of which Hooky was a co-owner first opened its doors.
Hooky & The Light are delighted to have confirmed live dates in Japan for 2012, particularly given the tragic circumstances which fell on the country in March 2011 leading to their original dates in Japan being cancelled.
The band will perform on both nights of the festival, performing their critically acclaimed performance of Joy Division's debut album 'Unknown Pleasures' as part of their set on the first night (April 28), before returning on the second night (April 29) to perform a different set containing a full live run through of Joy Division's second and final album, 'Closer'.
Other live acts confirmed for the festival at this stage include legendary Manchester indie outfit THE CHARLATANS, led of course by iconic frontman Tim Burgess. Hooky & The Light are delighted to be sharing the stage with The Charlatans in what should be a great event.
More live acts & DJs will be announced over the coming weeks, when tickets will also be put on sale.
