Hi,

Thanks for contacting me by e-mail a few weeks ago after you had looked at my site (you couldn't have got my e-mail address from anywhere else). I was interested in trading actually which is why I replied to your e-mail asking to let me know quality ratings and sources (AUD/SB/FM/TV) etc. for the stuff on your list (and that video compilation). However, as I got no reply, came to the conclusion that either you were only interested in selling, or you don't know the quality of the stuff on your list (which would be a bit strange), or maybe you'd forgotten completely.

If you're genuinely interested in a trade, there are some genuinely top quality NO/JD shows on my web site, mostly very low generation or masters (NONE MP3 sourced), from the early 1980's - there are even sound samples from each show that you can download (as 15-second 128kps MP3's) and listen to so you can judge for yourself what the quality is like (apart from which, I try to give accurate ratings, anyway).

So if you could let me know one way or another, I'd be grateful,

Thanks,

Baz

Thanks for the reply. But in that case, to be honest, I'm not sure now exactly why you contacted me in the first place ! But anyway, I've listed most of my "NEW ORDER" (one of the artists you say you are interested in trading for) bootlegs again below, several of which you do not appear to have yourself (click on the title in each case for more details - including tracklisting and audio sample) :-

19.05.81 "Stockholm 81" [audience, quality "B+"]

17.04.82 "Paris 82" [mixing-desk (mastered from vinyl bootleg), quality "A"]

08.12.82 "Wellington 82" [mixing-desk, 2nd generation copy, quality "A+"]

24.04.83 "Kilkenny 83" [FM radio (mastered from vinyl bootleg), quality "A+"]

17.05.84 "Death From The Sky" [audience, 2nd generation copy, quality "B+"]

27.06.84 "Southampton 84" [audience, quality "B"]

25.08.84 "Speeded Up" [FM radio, master, quality "A+"]

17.05.85 "Melbourne 85" [audience, 1st generation copy, quality "B+"]

18.05.85 "Sydney 85" [audience, 1st generation copy, quality "B+"]

11.03.86 "Hollywood 86" [FM radio, 2nd generation copy, quality "A+"]

21.06.87 "Glastonbury 87" [FM radio, master, quality "A+"]

21.08.93 "Electronic Ecstasy" [FM radio ('professional' bootleg), quality "A+"]

2001 "Live Tramsmission" [DAB radio/NICAM TV, master, quality "A+"]

Full details of my quality ratings and equipment used, and how to contact me, are on my web site at :-

Mike,

There's a couple there I would definitely be interested in - Reading 89, Brixton Academy 10th October 2001, Brixton Academy 11th October 2001 - is your Glasto 87 complete (ie not just the stuff that was on the BBC LP)?

E-mail me off group and I'll send you my list (although there are a few similarities with your own!)

Are these all on CD?
