Joseph Watt is one of the guy's who started Razormaid. JW is a very generous and talented person with great stories from his early days at Sire Records.

Razormaid's Deborah Iyall mix of Subculture is one of those stories. If I remember the story correctly, she was in the studio when he was working on a remix of Subculture. They got together and wrote a few new lines of lyric for the song, which Deborah Iyall (of Romeo Void) recorded. Only the new lyric included the line "one of these days you're gonna sit by yourself, you'll realize you can't f**k without someone else." JW mixed the new lyric in near the 7 minute point of the 9+ minute mix and it got some airtime in San Francisco -- for about 2 weeks until it got pulled. Funny story. I hope he doesn't mind me telling it.
