quite cheeky actually, inviting the members to bid for stuff and guess who's the highest bidder on nearly all of them?! I hope it gets bumped up good style ![]()

running your own site to collect stuff is a good way to go about it. if i had the resources i might do the same.

I saw that too. Seems ever so slightly pointless advertising them then becoming the high bidder on every single auction. I suppose it doesn't really matter when you have a seemingly bottomless pit of cash to expand your collection with ![]()
It does seem like a worthy cause however. I like how New Order occasionally do things like this; nice and low key but can still help somebody less fortunate out. They don't need to resort to the smug lecturing or shitey, self-serving charity records certain Irish meglomaniacs love putting out.
Good on NO ![]()
still wondering who the hightest bidder is then, Geri. Never visit ebay so haven't got a clue...
(or am i being very ignorant here?)

I was being sarcastic there. We all know who will get all these ![]()
except me, I think. :(
still haven't got a clue.
Although i already sensed the sarcasm intented.
So i'm not that dumb after all I suppose
:)
Let me explain: the guy that runs WIM, the Sultan, is known for snapping up everything that's of any interest, always winning the auctions because he appears to have an endless supply of cash. When I last checked the auctions he was the highest bidder on 5 of them, haven't looked again but I wouldn't be surprised if he got them all.
But, it's all for a good cause so the more he spends the better ![]()
aha, so it's David... well, as I said I never visit Ebay so couldn't work that one out myself.
So, Ok - I can get that one out of my mind and start thinking about other things in life again... cheers, Geri.
