Joy Division - Transmission acetate disc

I own a Joy Division one-sided 10" acetate disc with Transmission on it. The guy who sold it to me (in the early eighties) stated that this item was sold to him by Martin Hannett. Label states: 'PRT Studios - Joy Division - Tranmission - Zero'. Along with the rest of my JD/NO collection, I'm thinking of selling it! Would there be any interest for this item and if so what would this item be worth?

Why not list all of your JD/NO items here, there would no doubt be a lot of interest for them.

Sorry but making a complete list is really too much trouble. It’s so much stuff, it will cost me weeks to catalogue all the stuff, I don’t have that time. From the top of my head i can give the highlights of the collection though. I have stopped collecting JD/NO/Factory these days but I am interested in swapping high quality JD and NO remixes (sourced from CD) for others I have in my collection.

Some items in my collection are: (mint) statue of Little Lewey, (gold?) True Faith badge, 10” acetates of Transmission (Hannetts copy) and Decades (track named Here are the young men), complete collections NO / JD on 7”, 12”vinyl and on CD (including orig. Ideal for living 7”&12”, blue Short Circuit w/poster etc), complete series of Sordide Sentimental 7”vinyl singles (including the original and the bootlegged copy of Dead Souls / Atmophere ), original and copy of FAC1 poster, loads of promo material (vinyl and cd’s), about 20 JD/NO gig and promoposters (few diff. Technique posters, True Faith, Perfect Kiss, silver Dry bar poster etc), Factory badges, some laserdiscs, DVD’s and DAT-tapes, all the early Factory vinyl stuff, all the Factory video’s (in original fliptop boxes and including the megarare Doublevision video ‘TV Wipe Out’). I am shure I forgot some items so when i clean out my cupboard probably a lot more will come up. As said here earlier I am thinking of selling the collection but i am not in a hurry and i don’t want to sell it through eBay. If someone makes a good offer i will seriously think about it....

Could you please describe some of the posters you have, like TPK and True Faith?

ebay is your best bet you know, but don't sell them as a job lot.

I mean, can you put a price on those 10" acetates? Exactly what is a (probably) unique acetate worth these days?
