A few of us went when he played there a few weeks back.

There was some talk about going again on 29th.

El Jarvo might be pursuaded if he looks at your myspace. How tall are you ?? :shades:

I like Electrofuzz. You've nailed that Sneaker Pimps / Moloko influence :thumb:

Did we really pay 8 quid to get in there? Thought it was 5!

Maybe, baby!:thumb:

They're all on the mark-up!

I wish they were! The tickets say £8 on them and the Dirty South lists them as £8 on their myspace We just get £2 for every ticket we sell which is pretty standard gig terms. Cheers

I'm sure it says five on the poster on the door. I'm driving past next Tuesday so will check folks.

Cant see the place selling out either, so it'll be on the door for me, if i go.

We paid £8 on the door last time.

I'd rather buy the tickets off a new band trying to get on so that they make a few quid instead of the whole £8 to the venue.

It's not as if Hooky isn't going to get his wedge just because we buy our tickets from the support band.

Anyone know if Andy Rourke ever turned up at Dirty South on Sat 15th? My friend and I caught all 3 bands - of which Delphian Complex (who were one of the 2 supports for NO at Brixton last year)were the best. We left circa 11.30 before the 3rd band- Brain Freeze- had finished (cos they were rubbish!).There weren't too many other people there either! At this point there was no sign of The Smiths' Andy Rourke who was meant to be DJ-ing. I wonder if it was all a big swizz...Any comments?

Normally, the DJ comes on after the bands - around midnight, so he probably did play! :p

Yup, true - if I was able to go, then this is probably what I'd do.
