Postcards.

Not that I'd ever part with these (especially the "Unknown Pleasures" one), unless they were/are worth millions: but has anyone any idea how rare or common these are?

They are all "originals" first runs. I've had the Unknown Pleasures one since I was 15, it must've came out at round about the same time as the album:

I've also a bound book of "Banksy" postcards, as well as other pop/rock stars eg Erasure, Queen, John Lennon, Elvis, Levellers, Suede, Sgt Pepper, The Beatles, The Woodentops, Eno/Wobble and even Madonna (don't ask how/why I ended up with so much rubbish).

So worthless tat or tomorrows antiques!?

They're actually just shit copies for some reason, the shiny plastic coating is intact on them all, apart from "Unknown Pleasures", and it still looks good for a postcard that's 26 years old!

So your opinion is "tat" then!? (Still of great sentimental value to me. ) What do the rest of you think? And just how common are/were they?

I "collect" postcards mate, I've about 1500 to 2000-3000, do you think you can afford the postage for them all!?

(BTW; the vast majority have been sent to me, with personal messages attached, at various times/addresses. The Unknown Pleasures one was a gift from my best mate, along with the album, in return for a birdhouse I'd built. A damn good deal on my part!)

On a serious note, maybe we can do some trades...

I mainly collect stamps. Got 5,000+ of them excluding duplicates. i also collect phone cards and coins on the side, but not much as my love for stamps. Also collect fast food happy/kiddie meals. I got a big shelf full of these toys.

Not much for postcards, but I have a few of them.

Hobbies and collectibles are nice, but costly and a little time-consuming.

This was never an intentional thing I hate the way possessions begin to own you and take over your life. It started when my mate gave me the Joy Division one above, and a Woodentops one that I thought was "cool":
