This artwork has been created using a multiple layer screenprint technique, on a hand painted artists canvas stretched over a wooden frame.

Based on an image from an edition of the Cambridge Encyclopedia of Astronomy. It presents exactly 100 successive pulses from the first discovered pulsar.

The waveforms are a blend of metal filings which have been mixed in a clear resin base, and have been overprinted several times by hand in order to create a dense relief style effect afforded by the heavy ink build up - this looks nothing short of stunning, especially in direct light.

size of canvas is 30 x 30 inches

Have I been conned?

I ordered a black unknow pleasures screenprint from alchemist befor christmas, which should have been shipped registered to a UK address. My friends there never received anything. I've been trying to contact alchemist by email, but they seem to bounce. So anyone else have similar experiences? Alchemist please contact me. Or was it just a big swindle?

Don't panic... I did the same last year and he was dead slow at despatching them. It will appear shortly.

Might be the shocking state of our postal service.

EDIT: actually, how long ago did you order?.. I think I waited mebbe about three weeks tops.

I bought it around december 12. The thing I find spooky that all my email to him seem to bounce.

I can't see the images at the moment, but I like the idea of the white print. Any chance of getting the images up and making some more?
