Wanted 586 Futuremist tape

Looking for a copy of 3 mixes of 586 featured on Touch magazine as Prime 586 parts 1-3. I know it was played on John Peel many years ago!

Are you referring to the 22 minute Video 586 song? I have the CD single of it - the full song, something like 22 minutes.

Thanks but I already have that version myself. The versions that I want were originally played on the John Peel show and my brother taped it, but his car caught fire and the tapes weren't saved. I can remeber that the tracks were really cool and contained melodies that later turned up in Blue Monday and stuff off Power Corruption & Lies. I'll just have to keep searching..... I was hoping that it might have been on the Retro box set but it isn't. Oh well, I'll keep searching...!

Sorry for the intrusion, but I would very much like a copy of that. I've got a lo-fi mp3-file wich has parts that aren't in the official re-release, and I would definitely like an upgrade in sound-quality. Are you open for trades?

The version that you've got, is it the one that was released on Strange Fruit records? The versions that I'm after are parts 1-3. One part is 22 minutes long and was released last year on CD which I've got, but there are still anothe two parts out there somewhere!! A must to find!!

It is the tape that came with Touch Magazine titled "Feature Mist", catalogue number T1. Contains Video 586 parts 1 and 2. Also has contributions fom Robert Wyatt, Simple Minds, and Tuxedomoon among others
