Since there has been a flurry of talk and debate about Coachella since the lineup announcement, I believe that a fresh thread is in order so that we might learn for sure who* is going at this point. With a more definitive list of NOOLers, it will be easier to organize a meet-up down there in the desert.
Consider this a roll call.
* To start things off, I am going for the whole weekend.
I'll be there for Sunday only, but maybe I can score a free ticket for Saturday. I'll be the tall guy there next to two bums.
Only Sunday. Coming to LA in Saturday afternoon. Really would love to see Bauhaus on saturday but my possibilities are just enough to get Sunday. Three-piece suit and a black cashmere coat.

Yep, looking forward to two days in a Californian desert.
Will be booking a hotel in Palm Springs very shortly so all offers of car pooling to the site will be considered :D.
As an incentive, I'm sure Al will have a DIY New Order 2005 Tour Badge for the kind souls who join our party.
Still a strong likelihood that I will be at this one after all. Karen's got a hen weekend, so won't miss me that much if I do decide to head over!
I'm only going Sunday, and staying at the Vegabond palmsprings inn. If were going to meet somewhere, I'm sure I will be busy on Friday 
, so Saturday is the only good day for me.
Doing both days. Arriving Friday, departing Monday. I have a reservation at the Palm Springs North Motel 6.
Got a ticket for Sunday, leaning toward getting one on Saturday, cause I had initial doubts about the Cocteaus as a live propostion. Will almost certainly leave before the headliners take the stage on both days, gonna drive back to Burbank.
I'm going. Coming from Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA) and staying in the on-site tenting area. Not sure if the whole Coachella thing is an attempt to prove my endurance abilities in the desert, a slightly early (37) mid life crisis, or just plain devotion.
There are a lot of bands I'm excited to see, and I'm doing a lot of "research" to find out as much as possible about the bands I don't know about.
But it's all about New Order. Never seen them live. Which is sad, because the JD/NO thing has been with me since the mid eighties. You'd think I'd have had an opportunity before this.. (One show in Minnesota that I missed because I had to smurfin' work!)
I think there needs to be more of an on-site camping movement for those of us sleeping on the polo field...

Camping sucks though, I did that last year, the showers suck (long lines, hr. long wait) and it gets uncomfortably hot in the tent at around 7:00AM, so your up early. Also, it's pretty loud as far as people staying up talking.
Looking forward to seeing New Order of course, and also the Arcade Fire, they are amazing live, British Sea Power, Dresden Dolls, Fiery Furnaces...etc...

Will be there both days,a chance to see Bauhaus and NO on the same weekend,and considering flying from Phoenix to Oakland to see the show with the Chemical Brothers,and then flying back to palm Springs.What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I started the original thread, I'll weigh in. I will be at Coachella both days - getting into Palm Springs on Friday. Staying at the Motel 6 North Palm Springs. Regretfully, I will not be heading to Oakland as I will head to NYC to see them once they annouce a show there, plus I am coming with friends who are there to see other bands too. I planned the trip and cannot in good conscience run out on them Friday. I will be heading out for drinks Friday, so anyone up to join in, give a holla!!
