Non-festival gigs

Ally, as a loyal fan, what are your excuses for not making Hyde Park then, as I assume you're not going from what I've read above?

It's hardly a 'festival', per se, is it, and tickets are still widely available. Surely that's the London gig you say they should be doing? (Er, and are?). It's slap-bang in the middle the the English capital; you couldn't get a more pleasant outdoor surrouding and there won't be a tent or dog-on-string in sight. There's plenty of cheap flights from your neck of the woods otherwise the train's only a 4hr journey. Tickets are but 35 notes a pop (you can barely watch Premiership football for that and New Order at Brixton a whole 4 years back was only a few quid cheaper). And, the biggest plus, is that we'll have - what? - 50+ posters (MIN-I-MUM) in attendance from this site itself. Oh, and you'll also get Moby. Actually, no, scratch that last point.

Yes, it is surprising that they aren't doing a few more UK 'proper' gigs, especially in their home town. I haven't ruled out that they might play again this year.

Barney might change his mind. I reckon he's put his foot down as they're pretty busy between now and July, they're taking August off to be with their families and that gives him a good opportunity to review how he feels and see if more gigs from Sep onwards takes his fancy.

Btw, this is complete speculation on my part and not based on any fact whatsoever.

We might hear more in August/Sep. Then again, we might not ;)
