they have been confirmed for the headline slot at t in the park on stage 2, according to virtual festivals. i presume this means they will be playing the friday at oxegen.

Yep, doing both.
I wouldn't take Virtual Festivals as 'confirmation' though. I'm not booking anything until I see it confirmed in something more reputable like an official TITP site or I get word from the man.
That said, this is definitely on the bands wish-list and I'm pretty sure it will happen.
ok i will wait and buy my ticket when things are more clear. im just a bit nervous that it will sell out. nothing is ever easy.
