Much as I would like to, unless the Order play Derby Assembly Rooms I am going nowhere this summer.
Its great to read about all the proposed trips away. It seems a perfect opportunity to make yourself bankrupt in the space of 3 months.
Who is actually going ??....and where.
USA,Ireland,Germany,Spain..lots of choice.
Yes to the USA, Germany and Ireland, not Barcelona but maybe another Spanish festival in August that has yet to be comfirmed. Still sussing out whether to do all 4 US shows or just the NYC/Chicago ones.
Just booked my ticket for Oakland, but no guarentee of making the gig! Reminds me of 93 - i got a ticket for the Hollywood bowl- but missed the gig!! (student at the time) Then got tickets for 2001 in LA (AGAIN couldn't aford the flights) Got to do it this time!!!

Have I met you Kevin? Did you go to the Bizarre festival at Lorelei in 93? I remember a couple of younger lads having a fancy camera confiscated there, but they were due to fly off to the Hollywood Bowl as well.
Al, that was me!! Went to Dublin and Reading that year too. Will try to sort flights out at the weekend, maybe see you there?
Ony Barca at the minute, but maybe more Euro shows depending on what's announced in the forthcoming weeks/months, and I'm hoping there'll be more U.S. shows this year....
....any rumours circulating on this front, chaps?

I couldn't get my camera into the sight, my mate had his taken from him when a bouncer spotted him taking pictures!!

I couldn't get my camera into the sight (had to leave it on the coach) My mate had his taken from him when a bouncer spotted him taking pictures!! Good gig though!

I wouldlove to come over for the U.S. shows. I had the money sorted out by casually cashing in my academic pension. Unfortunately, because I get big breaks at Easter/Summer/Christmas the University wouldn't give me the time off to do the forthcoming Stateside shows. The money will now go towards a trip to the U.S after Hyde Park as I'll be going to see my mate get married in LA (little does he know his special day was going to get bumped in favour of New Order...) and do some "research" at UCLA and Berkeley. Which of course now means I can't do the Turin show.
So, sorry lads. I anticipate being shot down in flames for making excuses now.....
