Just re-read the press release, and hum...
"BURBANK, CA -- (Market Wire - Feb 07, 2005) -- Late breaking news! New Order have confirmed their appearance as co-headliners at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival on May 1, 2005, at Empire Polo Field in Indio, Ca."
Noticed the key word there? CO-headliners... could this mean that you'll have a full set? 
Sorry if this has already been covered eleswhere - Coachella usually give 40 minutes to all bands and 1.5 hours to headliners but things were wierd last year. On Saturday Radiohead and the Pixies were both big names - the Pixies played 103 minutes and Radiohead 96. One Sunday Flaming Lips were #2 on the bill, clearly less of a draw than the Cure and got a shorter spot (which they squandered as Wayne farted around trying to crowd surf in a giant bubble). The Cure played 106 minutes.
I'd expect NO and NIN to get around 1 1/2 hours each on the main stage.
I agree, New Order will get 90min on the main stage. But that wont mean much, when we get 17 songs at the Oakland gig!
Am I crazy? Can I pull off the drive from Oakland to Coachella? I plan on going the first day as there are several bands I want to see. Any thoughts? Note: I would drive from LA to Oakland on Friday morning, sleep three hours, get go to show, then leave for Coachella....
ohh, and I'll add my two cents. I put their set at Coachella at 75 minutes to 90 minutes (15 songs) which is 2-3 less than the other shows. And my feeling is those 2-3 songs will be important (i.e. Leave Me Alone, EGG, YSF, etc.)
